2024 Land Cruiser First Edition
Hi, and nice to meet you. I live in Chapel Hill, NC and am retired (now 3 years, since the pandemic took hold) from a public relations business.
I’m married, have 3 children and having traveled extensively most of my professional life, I enjoy not traveling, not going to meetings, and not having to follow a schedule however, I do enjoy exploring the NC coast, its restaurants and bars.
My LC FE, in Heritage Blue, was delivered to me 2 weeks ago and I’m still figuring it out. I joined this forum to meet other LC owners and to get guidance on a number of its features as well as other questions I have.
I’ve owned several Toyotas, including a 2017 Land Cruiser, 2020 Tundra, and a 2024 Sienna (family car!). I’ve also owned Lexus LX & GX. I churned through vehicles, too often.
This LC takes some understanding and some of the technology is very new to me, but I’ll get there, after all I’ve got time on my hands.
After my first drive in the LC I didn’t understand where there wasn’t more storage around the cabin, I’ve had to look at after-market options.
As soon as I have my list questions organized I’ll post those to this forum. Such as, why does my dash cam emit really annoying beeps whenever I start the car, until I turn the dash cam off?

Congrats on the FE Land Cruiser and Welcome to the forum @TarHeel 🍻

Welcome! I removed the dashcam. That seems to have addressed the beeping issue. And added more forward visibility, too.

Hey Mayonayze

Thanks for this. I have my LC booked in to have the DashCam removed. It’s a nice option to have but not if it’s going to be a problem. I agree, without it there, visibility will be improved.
Thanks
Tar Heel
