hi I just got a Heritage Blue Land Cruiser, my previous vehicle was a MY24 Prius that I loved but was a little small for my family and we want to be able to go on some light off road adventures. I do miss the handling and fuel economy of the Prius though!

My wife will be driving the LC so I just installed some winter tires, 265/70/17 Blizzak DM on SCS F5 17x8.5 +20. I had a hard time looking for wheels and used this forum a lot so I wanted to post for others to reference. I would have preferred getting some off road tires but yeah I want max winter performance!

Overall I really like the LC, I have driven the new Tacoma and Tundra extensively and I strongly prefer the LC over those vehicles!

Welcome! Did you drive the '24 Tacoma with hybrid? Curious how it was different, if so. Several reviewers have noted that the engine responded differently than the LC.

hi, I have driven a MY24 TRD Pro and Trail hunter Taco that were already broken in, I would say that acceleration on the Tacos is pretty impressive for what they are. The trail hunter was really fun actually because the high mount inlet, releases a lot of turbo noises. Unfortunately I have not tried similar acceleration test in my LC since it is still so new but for now I think the powertrain in the LC feels more refined. Even in normal driving the Taco engine seems a bit more rough but really this could be a number of factors because its hard to focus on just the powertrain in trucks and SUVs. Compared to the taco the LC just feels like a more composed/refined vehicle. The powertrain in the Tundra is better than the LC but its not really fair comparison but overall I still like the LC best.
