2024 LC 1958
The question I have is I just got the LC 1958 and switch out the 245/60/18 to BF KO3 275/65/18 and my Miles to Empty went from 302 to 267 and my gas mileage sucks. Also my speedometer is about 2 miles off. Do I need to get my speedometer recalibrated at Toyota or is there a way to do it? I saw there was a feature in a scan tool that will allow for a recalibration or something like an offset but I have no idea how to do that nor would I and I would just bring it up to Toyota to do. But I want to check if that was something I needed to do. The LC only has 1000 miles on it Also do I need to change the tire pressure from 33psi?

Same here. I put 275/70/18's on new wheels and mpg fluctuates every day between 16-18mpg's. I find myself resetting mpg gauge every few days.

You may want to be careful taking it to Toyota...the warranty may be voided with certain aftermarket additions.

Same. I did 285 70 18's and all this is off. My speedo is actually 3 mph faster which is weird. When Im doing 70, the speedo should really be reading 67. Instead its north of actual. Doesnt make sense if the revolutions are less per mile having taller tires. Fight me...

I understand but I'm good. I could of bought the same tires direct from Toyota but Discount Tires was cheaper.

Unlike Falken, I can't find a load table for the KO3 on the BF Goodrich site. But, if you input the information into an online tire pressure calculator, this is the answer:

Welcome to the asylum.

I asked my local Toyota service folks and they said there was no recalibration possible. A bit of online searching seems to confirm this. There are aftermarket boxes that go between the sender unit and the speedo/odo but none mention the LC250 so it's unclear if they would work. So.... I suspect we just need to live with it.

My new tires are 285/75/17, or about 34", and are about 2 mph too high at highway speeds and about 1 mph too high at city speeds so it's not a big deal.
