New Land Cruiser 250 aka Prado is breaking sales records in US

It's getting a little bizarre here on Long Island in NY.

I see at least one GX every time I am out. Yet to see a single LC.

I've seen 2 LC's in the small town I live in, but I think one of them was passing through since they were on the highway that goes from Mt Rainer outback area to I82.
When I went to pickup my LC in Everett last week, I saw a MS FE (pretty sure) going the opposite direction on I5.

I think mine is the only Underground in the area, at this time. I love it.

The LC trim is selling well here, but nobody wants the 1958 so they’re actually offering discounts on them.

video proof: - bunch of LCs 1958 are on the lot with ~2K discount. I had to get LC trim (because I have no balls and kids/wife wouldn't let me buy a car of any color but blue ), but I wouldn't mind to grab white 1958 (classic/default LC color/look and no moonroof (in my area all LC trims are configured with moonroof ) with a discount and spend extra cash on kewl tire, bash plates and other off-road goodies. . .

Now they are slicing FIVE thousands off the MSRP for the 1958 trim and have like a dozen of them sitting on the lot

That’s wild. Meanwhile I can sell my FE for what I paid for it, if not more.
