***New CA Tuned Offroad Front Bumper***

Silly question: What would one use that front hitch receiver for? Pushing a trailer into a tight spot?
No such thing as a silly question. One possible application would be a hitch mounted hammock. It just gives an individual options, especially if they go with a high clearance rear bumper and remove the rear hitch and/or portion of the crossmember.

Definitely strange that a company in California wouldn't factor in a front license plate mount
There are so many options to run a front license plate if you choose to do so. The front hitch is just one of those solutions to resolve that issue by having a license plate frame there.

Yes. It clears all the sensors and all factory sensors are working just fine.
How hard is the install? DIY garage doable? Looks like the plastic bumper valance in front of the tires, as well as a piece of the fender flare will require cutting. Anything else? Any diagrams out there?

It does say bolt on but that could mean cutting still

You'll see lots of these types of setups on TX beaches (random google photo)

They don’t have the diagrams right now, but that will be included with all the measurements needed to cut. It’s somewhat straight forward. You remove the bumper, unplug a couple harnesses fog light, and camera if you have. Remove the crossmember. You cut that middle portion valance out and cut the fender flare trim pieces as there is a wing support bracket that goes underneath. And it bolts up using the existing mounts with the crossmember. Very similar to front bumper install like the 4Runners, tacos, that covert style bumper.

I didn’t install myself, I was fortunate enough to be able to do it at the shop. I have done an SSO slim hybrid bumper for the lady’s 5th gen 4Runners with viper cut/support brackets to go with it, so that honestly the best comparison I can think of.
