MTS just for off-road right?

A lot of the features remind me of my previous 4Runner, but I don't remember MTS. Is this just a low speed off road feature?

MTS adjusts traction control based on selected terrain. Low speed Offroad feature is crawl control.

I think that is one of the differentiators for the new MTS, that it can be used in both 4-high and 4-low. There is a "deep snow" setting that is only available in 4-high, but they are mostly tweaks to the traction control for offroad

You probably had ATRAC on your 4Runner. MTS is a more refined version of the same system.

I have MTS on my 4runner but only a couple settings are available in 4hi.
