Took a day trip out to Lasalle, IL. probably covered 230 miles mostly highway. Started at 19-19.1 and ended the trip at 20. That was a nice jump I thought. The other thing that seemed remarkable is how much more planted it feels now. Maybe that is part of the break in process, but the initial drive post delivery, it felt really floaty. Not so today, in fact I for the first time I didn't feel compelled to put it in Sport. Felt much more connected to the vehicle and the feedback was greatly improved.
 
We are up to 20.3 mpg now. I'm going to replace the tires with KO3's I think early December before the brunt of winter. I used to run General Grabber's back in the day on my 4Runner but the KO3's seem to test better today.
 
During short in down drives, I'm getting something like 9.3MPG or 13MPG. These are 2 to 3 mile drives.
Averaging about 21.3MPG with 1500 miles on the odometer .

I'm at 1,500 on the odometer, but still not breaking over 19 MPG. I do mostly local on street driving, and the jump to 19MPG came from a 600+ mile drive through windy Big Sur and back.
 
My best average MPG has been 16.5, combined a few highway miles and city driving here around Dallas. Mileage is really TERRIBLE!!!

I've put 1100 miles on the Cruiser and several tanks of fuel and through all the refills, my best average on a tank of gas was 16.5 miles.
 
I am consistently getting 21-24 now with 2400 miles on a mix of highway and city and always using premium gas. Had a few occasions of 25+ on longer highway drives (no faster than 72-73mph and normally at 68-72). Started getting better mileage after about 1600-1800 miles. My range showed 342 when I filled up today which is the highest I have ever seen it... it used to be 319 and below.

I needed to see this consistency before my Westcott rack comes in and before I change to real AT tires. I am going to monitor with the rack on for a month or two before I do the tires and see what each upgrade does. My tires will be OEM size and Icannot upsize or it won't fit in my garage.

The KO3โ€™s are fantastic, one of my favorite tires Iโ€™ve run. So far Iโ€™ve got about 3k miles on them in dessert sand, sharp Colorado rocks, one of the most torrential rain storms Iโ€™ve ever experienced, and a lot of normal city and highway miles. In every situation theyโ€™ve performed at or exceeded my expectations. Iโ€™ve always felt the KO2โ€™s were a bit squarely in the wet, the KO3โ€™s feel absolutely planted in the rain and gave me a lot of confidence. I did go up slightly in size (275/70/18) and my average MPG is only 17.6 right now. Mine is probably worse case scenario because of the elevation in Colorado, and all the drives up to even higher in elevation.
 
20.4 now as of Sunday at 1436 miles now. KO3's are coming next week Friday. We'll see how those feel.
Please let us know how much of a MPG hit you take with the KO3โ€™s. Which tires are currently on your LC?
 
The 5th Generation 4Runner and the previous generation Landcruiser got around 00.00 mpg to 11.5 mpg whether you were driving in the City, on the highway, or it was parked in the garage.
 
OK little housekeeping driving off the lot we were at 20.6 mpg. Will use that for comparison on the KO3โ€™s.
 
I'm all stock on the LC LC premium with 20s and at 2000 miles my total average miles per gallon literally just hit 22.0 mpg in Northern California as of last night. Most of my driving is trips of 75 miles round trip to work with one pretty large/long hill to/from work with 75% of the time on freeway 25% of the time on city streets with moderate to high traffic (bumper to bumper). I drive in regular drive mode and don't exceed 65 mph. No AC and no windows open. I've actually been getting 25-27 mpg getting there and 20-22 mpg getting home so MPG goes up .1 mpg every time I drive to work. I couldn't resist and just reset the MPG setting so it's 0 (zero'd out) last night so let's see how that goes. There's hope for you guys for better MPGs.
