2024 Land Cruiser
Hello,
I have a moonroof in my 2024 Land Cruiser. I believe that it is improperly sealed and creates a distracting amount of howl type noise. I can easily slip a spatula through the rear seal of the moonroof from the top and this has me worried about snow and rain, as well as the noise. I took to dealer, they say it’s loud, but normal as other LC moonroofs have same level of seal. Why would I be able to slip a teflon spatula through any moonroof seal and have it be called normal? My 2011 Highlander moonroof has a whole different and airtight seal configuration. Does anyone else have a loud howling LC moonroof?

Welcome to the forum BokoMaru.

You should not be able to slip a teflon spatula through ANY moonroof seal.

Find another dealer, who is ethical and honest.

Follow up: I have been able to slip a spatula through the moonroof rear seal on all 4 land cruisers I know.

Do you have crossbars? The crossbars certainly howl at speeds over 65mph ish

Easily removed the crossbars resulting in significantly less wind noise.
