Mobile 1 vs Service Pro oil

While at my local dealer today picking up a couple of ordered parts for my LC (565 miles) I asked what brand of oil was used in the “free” 10K service. The guy made a call to someone and then said Mobil 1 or Service Pro.

So what is Service Pro oil? Is it ok to mix and match oil from one service to the next? I kind of like the idea of starting with one oil and sticking with it. Maybe I’ve watch too many YouTubes on new cars and engine oil.

Blackstone labs did an analysis of most oil brands and found that they’re all mostly the same as long as you change them at the correct interval.

Whether it’s Mobil 1 or Kirkland brand, as long as you’re changing the oil regularly, you’re fine.

I would worry much less of an oil brand than use condition and interval
