I have dreamt of owning Toyota 4x4s since the mid 1970s. I bought my first Taco in 2008. Since then I have owned Tacos, Tundras, 4Runners and an FJ Cruiser. The LC 250 caught my attention because it gave me a retro vibe. I bought it in September and put 5,000 miles on it. I am enjoying it so far. Waiting to see where it will take me next.

I didn’t change the oil. I took it for service and they told me they will change it at 10k.

Yep. Wise people tell me I should have been saving to retire instead of buying Toyotas. But I have no regrets.

I changed mine at $2k miles, will do again at 5k, and then every 5k after that. Here are some good explanations why not to wait for 10k miles, certainly not for the first service if ever:

I follow the Toyota schedule because I will have it 2 years from now. I sell them before the warranty expires.
