1958 Land Cruiser
Hi Everyone! Picked up our new meteor shower 1958 last Saturday. Love this car already. I was driving a 2006 Honda element with 281,000. miles on it. That element was the greatest for real. But Im pretty stoked with the lc. It's a total dream car for me. Mondays work commute was super fun. I christened it with sheep poop covered boots on Tuesday. And then it took me off to a hiking adventure, where the weirdest thing that has never happened to any car I have ever had happened. The dogs and I headed out on a trail for a couple of hours and came back to discover that over a dozen dairy cows (not mine)had surrounded Rad Cruiser(cars name) and had rubbed themselves all over it, licked it and ground mud, pebbles and grass everywhere. From the bottom of the tires to the roof line. All the way around. I fully expect it to spend most of its lifecycle happily muddy. I fully expect it's going to get scratched up. But it was a little crazy to have the whole thing get mud packed into every crevice and scraped like a cat scratching post in one go. I guess they just really liked my new car. Same girl, same.. I count myself lucky there wasn't one on the hood. 🐮

Cows love to lick the salt off cars - not sure how salty yours was, if that was related.
This is very true. I live on a small island a few blocks from the water so my cars are perpetually salty (the cows at this hike spot are 1.5 hour drive away). Ive parked in the same spot often and got a window lick or two but this was a full mud bath and a lot of cows. So I suspect whatever the dealership washed it with may have played a role. Or they just appreciate cars that are taller than they are.
