Low MPG on 2024 Landcruiser 250

I bought a 1958 model Land Cruiser. Love it but i'm getting about 14.8 MPG. I added 33" tires and a front runner slimline 2 roof rack which i'm sure are affecting it a bit....but the best i got was 19.4 MPG on a 180 mile highway trip when it was brand new stock....anybody having this issue?

yes, this issue has been resolved. Please see this thread - I got 76.6 MPG with this weird trick.

Only getting 17mpg

I had the dealer put on BFG KO2's before I picked up my Land Cruiser FE. They are the same size as the stock (265 70 R18) but I am only getting 17mpg. I have around 2500 miles now and it has not changed. Any one else having the same issue?

Does anyone actually get the posted 22/24 mpg?

I'm clocking in at 17.2 mpg. 700 miles on ODM, I drive like a grandma, I have only put in premium gas, stock wheels, in ECO mode 100% of the time. What gives???? I should be at minimum getting 22 mpg. I wouldn't really care all that much except the tank is tiny...15 gallons. I only get a...

LC Fuel Economy

In the first 1000 miles driven, 420 highway/580 city I am averaging 17.7 mpg. A little disappointing. Definitely not the 23 combined mpg it is marketed to achieve. What are your experiences?

CANT GET THE CORRECT MILES PER GALLON

It’s been about a month with the new Land Cruiser and I can not do more than 17.6 per gallon when it is supposed to be 25 on highway and I been pumping premium gas since day one , any suggestions?

1958 - 275 70 R18 change in mpg

Hello all. Would anyone with a 1958 and 275 70 R18 tires be willing to tell me what mpg you’re getting?

It will improve as it breaks in, but maybe by only 1 or 2 mpg though. I've experienced this and others in these forums saw that same. Your tires and that gear on your roof rack will definitely affect your performance.

I have A/T 275s and didn't quite hit 22 mpg on my last tank with about 3000 miles. I suspect I'd get 23 mpg if I'd kept my stock tires. This is with slow driving.
