Land Cruiser Floor Mats Front and Rear Seats?!

Tuxmats have them for LC now. I got a set and love them but the front mats cover door sill. That’s great except mine are illuminated and it totally covers them up. They are currently sold out but I would sell mine that were in the truck 1 day.
Do you have a picture of the Tuxmats installed?

i chose the weather tech mats, as they had greater coverage going up the transmission well. One thing i miss about my FJ, besides the seat comfort, is that lack of carpet.

Call me crazy, but I dont really get much out of having things carpeted. Perhaps sound dampening?

They went higher than the TuxMats? If so, I am going to return these and get WT. I had WT in my last truck for 10 years and carpet looked great when I sold it. I also like that you can get Java /Cocoa in the WT.

I wish Husky Liners still made the diamond plate mats with the sticky tits on the bottom to prevent sliding. They were easy to wipe clean and had capacity to hold a good bit of melted snow. The Weather Techs are more expensive and collect dirt in certain spots. Toyota has a aversion to slipping mats based on a bad experience several years ago. A driver was killed when his mats slid up under the accelerator pedal... The stock Toyota mats can be cleaned using a large tooth brush. Just takes more time.

I am a fan of the all season floor mats provided by Toyota. They seem to have enough coverage to catch drips, salt and various debris without dominating the interior of the car. I also like that they are quiet. Some of the weather tech floor mats are made from a really ridged material that makes a clicking sound when people move their feet over them.
