Hey Everyone, looking to learn more about the 1958 from here. Quick question though, after driving it for about 40 mins home it had a very strong burning smell and can see smoke floating around around the headlights. Is this something I should be concerned about and contact the dealer? Thanks!

Completely normal. Just various preservative oil/grease from manufacturing and shipping prep burning off. Odor will go away after a week or two.

I experienced the same fumes with fairly strong smell. It goes away after a few days of driving. I would suggest keeping windows and doors closed while idling during that initial time.

Thanks for the reassurance! Now I can enjoy the new ride without worrying about the smell.
