looking under the wipers you can see the elements for wiper deicers, however we don’t have the button to activate them per the manual.

Do they come on when you put on the rear defroster? The manual only mentions dedicated buttons.

My Tundra ('07) windshield de-icer comes on when the rear defog and heated mirrors are turned on.

How does this work when remote starting from the app? Do you just leave it on through the head unit?

Good question. I don’t see it on the climate control settings on the app. You would think that would be one of the best options to have on the app.

Funny detail: Canadian market 1958 doesn’t have rear climate controls, so we get a deicer button instead.

Interesting! I want the heated rear seats from the international market for sure. But If I turn out really liking the LC in the coming years, as in I like it enough to buy the last model year the J250 is available, which will for sure come with said heated seats, among other goodies.

Can't wait!

So that suggests it works on the 1958? I just discovered it in the menu settings, which pleasantly surprised me, but now trying to figure out if it works on the non-Canadian 1959. It does allow you to turn it on with the screen, which suggests it works.

I think he meant that the Canadian models get a dedicated button for deicer and that it is not activated using the display.
