Tire Upgrade ?
I went with method 17" with I think 25mm offset. My tires are 285 and with more poke than ideal, but I'll get extended mud flaps. I had 20" stock and I didn't see a reason to buy 18" wheels Which wheel? Pics? 17” seems like logical choice to me when fitting off-road tires but focus here...

@jboo can you post some pics of the poke? Any rubbing issues? About to pull the trigger on the matte black 703 with AT3 285/70/17. I know 285/75/17's don't rub, just want to make sure the extra 0.2" doesn't rub.

Stock suspension with no rub or issues at all. I believe 1958s have narrower fenders so there's more visible poke (pictured), than on the other trims.

Here's what I'm running. No rubbing with stock suspension. Spare fits (barely, considering rear bumper change someday)

Those look amazing! You have excellent taste. So much so I went to see the cost and realized that I can't swing those!
No problems at all on stock suspension. No rubbing and room for the spare. Side walls just outside the mudguards. Nitto terra grappler 3 285/70/17 on +35 Method 703

I couldn’t afford them either but i still like the look, especially in bronze!
I went with the Toyo AT3 34 10.5 17. D load. IMO it is the perfect tire for the LC. 55 lbs
Nearly an inch more diameter than the 285 70 17, but it fits perfectly in the spare well. Rides great, perfect for my use case as DD and weekend off-roader.
