Hello everyone, my current LC 100 series is my grandsons favorite cars among e39M5 runners up, water and aircool 911s, C2 sting ray, and a Lotus Europa. Yeah too many cars but if I have to keep just one that will be the Land Cruiser. I owned her for about 10 years, rescued from Michigan. She is now rock solid with the typical problem areas fixed. Tempting to replace her with the new 24 model, mainly due to the fuel economy reason. I hope the new LC is worthy of the legendary older models.

Welcome to the site Steve, what a wonderful collection you have there. Glad to have you aboard!

Welcome to the site! You've got a nice collection of cars. I had a 1987 Porsche 911 that I still regret selling.

it’s really hard to keep more than 3 cars in my opinion. Other than storage and maintenance, it’s finding the time to drive and exercise them. As I’m getting older I found myself driving them less especially the sting ray as it’s the oldest car so it also drives like an older car. Likely the corvette and one 911 will have to go if I’m going to get the LC. The new LC would allow me to drive at night and long trips. I’ve always like the 3.2 Carrera, classic and timeless.
Will give everyone update on this exciting journey!

@supersix thank you!
As baby boomer I’m fortunate to have these cars as I was growing up! The sting ray came out when I was 7, the Lotus when I was at middle school, the Porsche when I was in high school. And the M5 and 996 when I was at the prime of my career. I had the Porsche SC the longest since 1986 and the Lotus in 2002, and 996 in 2007. The remaining since my retirement in 2013. I’ve always told my wife it’s good investments, but she knows it’s not … with maintenances etc some are money pits. But that’s our passions, post Covid have created an environment where most of these car have double or gone up tremendously. We are just care takers on these classics so hopefully the next generations would carry on, carry on.

(I had to sell my 67 e type before the arrival of my twin daughters. Got a used 79 Accord instead actually a very good car in 84. After numerous Hondas, we had a new Explorer but didn’t make it to 100K, got a used Land Cruiser and kept it until now.)

Wow, your 67 E-Type was gorgeous! The prices on those have gotten outrageous.
