Howdy from New England/ Eastern MA. I picked up our LC Trim a few weeks back and am really enjoying it! I traded in a โ€˜22 4Runner Off Road Premium with KDSS for it and was worried if I was spoiled by the KDSS for on road handling. 2,200 miles in and Iโ€™m thrilled with the choice to go with this LC. I have a few gripes on the CarPlay integration and the Toyota user interface but when it comes to driving this thing, the power, the hybrid system, the handling, some light off-roading and playing with 4LO and the differentials, the swaybar disconnect, all of it, I love this thing!

First mods were to order the TRD wheels, some Cooper R&Ts (265/70 18) and center caps before the LC arrived. I installed the OEM skids last week, nice easy install with those, just wish a gas tank skid was offered as well.

I did a quick test fit for my DirtCom tire swing, seems like it should work fine but still need to fully bolt it on to be sure and wonโ€™t get to that until Sunday or soon after.

My Rhino Rack cross bars from the 4Runner seem to fit great. I installed my GFC Superlite on them last week for a shakedown run up to NH and everything worked great. Did some light trails to play with the 4 wheel drive bits and canโ€™t wait to get the LC on more New England trails soon.

Iโ€™ll post a few more pics once sheโ€™s fully loaded for a trip to the North Maine Woods. The #1 thing to work on is a cargo platform for my fridge slide and for strapping down all the camping gear but probably wonโ€™t have time before this first camping trip.

Overall Iโ€™m thrilled with the LC, worth the wait, just hoping a software update improves my minor UI gripes but Iโ€™m a big fan no matter what.

Do you have the link for where you bought the wheels? I have searched a bunch online and keep coming up with all the knock offs. Rig looks great!

I ordered from a local dealer, Harr Toyota in Worcester, MA because I wanted to see them in person before accepting them. In the past I had a set of different Toyota wheels show up from BAM parts online and 3 out of 5 were dinged in shipment. Plus Harr had great pricing during the 4th of July sale.

Looks great. Iโ€™m looking at the same wheels along with either the Cooper Discover Road + Trail AT or the Bridgestone Dueler Ascent. How are you liking the Coopers? How are they handling on the road?

I was a little concerned with on road manners vs 4r kdss. It is comparable however. 4Runners without kdss are atrocious.

Iโ€™m impressed with the R+T on road for sure. Quieter than I expected so far but they are still so new. Iโ€™ve had the K02, Wildpeak AT3W, and Rubitrek and the R+T are hands down the best on the road. I donโ€™t expect them to be as rugged off road but they will get some good sidewall challenges in a few weeks. I wish there were some C load tires to choose from but for now Iโ€™ll see how these SL tires do. No real rock crawling in my future with the LC but do look forward to lots of trail exploring to see how these tires handle in the dirt.
