Just curious if anyone else has needed to adjust or can adjust the headlights after modifying?

I just put on a Westcott collar to level out my LC, I believe it is 2.75 in the front and 1 in the rear and added 285/70r18 along with some +40 offset method wheels. My headlight beams are now angled a little higher at night and I am getting flashed often for people thinking I have my brights on, so I am guessing I need to adjust my beam angle. Anyone else have to do the same thing?

I added some pics just because you got to after an upgrade..ha

Thanks!

I adjusted mine after lift. Very simple. On the back of each headlight is a plastic bolt (8mm if I recall correctly, and I think it’s white). Turning one way raises and other lowers the beam. Just open the hood and you can get to it without removing anything!

Related... did you actually get 2.75" with Westcott up front? I know they advertise that... I only got 1.5".

Yes, the Westcott was either 2.5 or 2.75 up front, really like it and the slight increase in compression seems to have improved the loose handling on windy roads. Just a bit stiffer, which is great.

I had the lift shop adjust mine at no charge after the Westcott lift. People were flashing their brights at me LOL. I also put 285 70 18 tires on

According to the measurements my shop took, I only got ~1.5" up front and 1" in the rear. It was a little puzzling...
