Mike from Tucson here. I’ve owned the following Toyotas over the last 40 years: Two Celicas, Two Toyota Trucks (pre Tacoma), Three Tacomas, Three 4Runners and now, finally a Land Cruiser. Having driven just under 4k miles at this point, I have nothing but good things to say. The price was crazy and by far the worst thing about this vehicle. Love the power, fuel economy, comfort, looks and of course the capability. I immediately swapped the stock wheels for the Toyota TRD Wheels from a new Tacoma. They stick out just under an inch more than stock. The wider stance provides a slight but noticeable improvement in cornering and I like the looks.
Here she is out living her best life.

Hello Mike! Good desert-running rig! Wish I was there, as winter is rolling in here, and the off-roading opportunities will vaporize. Only been to your neck of the woods once, to Davis-Monthan AFB for work, and sadly, not in an off-roading machine.

Welcome, Mike. Great looking Land Cruiser. Is that black or Underground?

Underground.

That's an underground? Thought that was a black, lightening really makes a difference. great shot.

Undergrounds looks different every time I see it. It takes on hues of gray, blue, and blackish at times.

It does! - an interesting color, for sure. Looks fantastic with the Java interior which is more of a Redwood color in my eyes.
