FOB Linked to Drivers Seat Settings

I'm having issue with my FOB linked to driver profiles/settings. I have 2 profiles, one for myself and one for my wife. Very different seat settings and have memory settings 1 & 2 both programmed appropriately. We each have a profile set up in the LC and I have attempted to link the FOBs to the profiles in the settings on the multimedia display. If we unlock the LC using the button on the FOB only, the memory positions do get recalled. If we unlock the LC from holding the handle, the memory positions do get recalled. This seems very strange. Hoping somebody might know what the issue is and how to fix...any ideas??

@shots is there a mistake in your post? In which scenario are the seat settings recalled and not recalled?

Bump because I'm noticing the same thing. Those buttons on the door do nothing either, but the manual says something about having to turn off the seat setting with a profile to use them. Not to complain in my first post, but the manual's explanation of the seat memory function is abysmal.

Love my LC but certain areas of the manual could have used a once over by a good tech writer.
