This should be an easy one. Where is the location of the air filter under the hood?

I can't seem to find it.

That's what I thought but when I opened it, there's nothing in there that looks anything like the new one that I have sitting there in the plastic.

There's just a pad in there. Is it possible it didn't come with an air filter?

Here's a picture with it opened. You can see there's just a pad that is fastened down.

However, I don't see the filter there.

There should be a filter. The filter is kinda purple.
There is only what I showed in the image.

Would you mind taking a picture of yours and showing what yours looks like?

Mine just has a pad that is bolted down with these plastic things.

However, there is no filter that I can see.

Certainly not a filter that looks like the new one I have in the first image.

Itโ€™s a square filter.

Did your filter get stuck to the lid?
Holy @#!? YES! Lmao

I knew you would figure it out.

My car is like a magician. It was stuck to the underside of the plastic thing so when I lifted it up it wasn't there. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚

Thank you ๐Ÿ™

Since we're on the topic and I bought the wrong replacement engine filter.

Does anyone have an Amazon link for the 2024 Land Cruiser engine air filter?
