That's what I thought but when I opened it, there's nothing in there that looks anything like the new one that I have sitting there in the plastic.
There's just a pad in there. Is it possible it didn't come with an air filter?

Here's a picture with it opened. You can see there's just a pad that is fastened down.
However, I don't see the filter there.

Mine just has a pad that is bolted down with these plastic things.
However, there is no filter that I can see.
Certainly not a filter that looks like the new one I have in the first image.

My car is like a magician. It was stuck to the underside of the plastic thing so when I lifted it up it wasn't there.

I live in the country. The dealer is about 1 hour each way. (Without traffic)
Which is why I try to use Amazon all the time.
