I am looking at a new LC but the stock tires seem a little disappointing for a body on frame suv. I dont want 35's im not gonna rock crawl this thing. But I had the old duratracs on my tacoma and loved the look as well as the performance for what I needed. It seems that size would fill out the wheel wells pretty good without being over bearing. I would like to keep the stock 18" wheels and stock suspension. Has anyone put on the duratracs on their LC and what about that size and fitment with it all stock?

275/70/R18 will fit fine on stock 18" wheels and will fit in the spare tire location. Last I checked they only come in E load in that size which is heavy. The stock 265/70/R18 size has standard and E load options. (See the spreadsheet in my signature.)

Edit to add: I've had a couple sets of the old Duratracs on my FJs, my default tire for a Land Cruiser (when I finally get one) is the Duratrac RT in 265/70/R18.

Awesome thanks for the reply. Looking on discount the bigger but heavier E load rated is 61lbs and the lighter but stock size one is 49lbs. I honestly would probably lean to the bigger tire for the look and extra size and tread depth. I am curious on how much the fuel economy will be hit on a E rated tire. Either way I do love the duratrac they always did me well.

I went with the standard Duratracs in 265 70R 18 on my 1958 OEM wheels: Post in thread 'Tire (and a few wheel) options spreadsheet' Tire (and a few wheel) options spreadsheet
Looks awesome! Have you done any kind of snow/offroading on those tires? What kind of mpg are you getting? And how is the ride and noise vs the oem. They really make the LC look great
