Drove the Lexus GX 470 V8 today and was surprised how much I missed the LC

Yes I have felt for years like the Lexus with the big V8 was such a beast and really easy to drive. It is my wife's vehicle but I have loved driving it for many years. But today, after being in the Land Cruiser for the past month, it was very strange to drive it. It felt sluggish, uncomfortable, and simply not fun.
I did not tell the wife this as she loves her Lexus .

Previously I had a V8 4Runner and I am surprised at how much I enjoy the Hybrid. It's so responsive.

More efficient hybrids are the wave of the future and Toyota is the manufacturer to do it properly.

In a few years, those over-sized engines with poor performance specs will be undesirable dinosaurs. Think back to the 1970's when V8s the size of your house were only pushing out 135-150 hp and consuming fuel akin to a camel prepping for a world tour in the Mojave Desert.

Engineering progress is good.
