Does anyone actually get the posted 22/24 mpg?

he means 40's Mud Swampers
Thank you so much! I agree, I think over sizing the tires, and making them poke out just makes it look stupid. It is a luxury SUV for crying out loud.. if you want KO3’s, fine.. just do The OEM size. Keep them within the wheel wells, as required by law in some states.

I’m just averaging 16.2 miles while driving in normal mode with non-aggressive gas/foot pedal. I only have 1059 miles… I’m hoping this will increase soon! I have the FE with 18” tires.

I got 26.1 mpg on my 350-mile trip this past weekend to watch 4 condors be released in Northern Arizona. The route was all 2-lane, went from 6000 ft elevation to 10000 ft elevation 2X and included 30 miles of washboard gravel road. I'm running in "Eco" mode with 91 octane fuel. Stock tires so far (damn it!) Overall, after 1800 miles, I'm in the 23-24 mpg range including city driving and 80 mph freeway excursions.

Have you seen the video by The Car Care Nut on how to drive this type of hybrid?

We are getting rather good mileage in our 1958 trim. Driving has been mixed highway and forestry roads in the foothills with a Little bit of city. Total average has been steadily improving be as we are about to roll over the first 1000 miles. It is currently 10.1 lph which is 23.25 mpg. On the drive back from a foothills hike this afternoon it was over 30 mpg which included some gravel highway and city. That’s the second time I have seen over 30 on a trip back from foothills. I use eco and the engine is shutting off on most downhills.

I'm clocking in at 17.2 mpg. 700 miles on ODM, I drive like a grandma, I have only put in premium gas, stock wheels, in ECO mode 100% of the time. What gives???? I should be at minimum getting 22 mpg. I wouldn't really care all that much except the tank is tiny...15 gallons. I only get a range of 280 miles per fill.
I’ve been getting 13-14mpg recently. Was getting 16mpg but I turned off the mpg on my cluster because I got sick of being annoyed by the crap mileage. The. I checked again and it was 13mpg. I had a 2024 hybrid rav4 for 6 days, drove it the same way I drive my LC and got 35mpg, used regular fuel and spent $19 driving 200 miles. Somethings up. I wouldn’t hav

I just made a round trip from Hot Springs, SD down to the Denver area and back today. Minimum cruising speed of 70MPH up to 84MPH. Averaged 21.4 MPG. Land Cruiser trim with premium package and 20” wheels with the stock Dunlop Grandtrek tires. Finished up with about 800 miles on the clock, so not broken in yet. Traffic from Cheyenne to Denver kicked my dick in for efficiency.

Given all of that I can’t complain too much considering the EPA highway rating is based on about a 60-65MPH speed. I drove 20% to 25% faster and got 20% to 25% worse fuel efficiency. My time is worth something, take my money.

This thing could maybe use a larger fuel tank, but realistically I have to stop to take a leak on a road trip far sooner than the tank will run dry. For adventures off the beaten path though… a GX550 fuel tank might be an interesting upgrade if it’s possible to easily install.

19-22 average for me, but I dont accelerate much in my commute. It was slightly worse under 1000 miles
