Took delivery of mine on Saturday and spent the weekend transferring all my stuff into it. Much less storage space in this vehicle than in my outgoing Tahoe but I made it work. I do have an instacrate in the back that holds some larger stuff like my foldable emergency shovel and my tire patch kit, both of which fit into storage bins before. I also had to cut a few redundancies, like multiple flashlights, to get everything in. But made it work with nothing sitting on top of the tire iron/jack lever kit in the forward storage bins before. So a small amount of available space remains.
I installed aftermarket cross bars and measured clearance. I was conservative and added an inch to every measurement, figuring that the 275/60/20 snow tires I put on it tomorrow are trivially taller than the OEM tires. But here are the measurements:
There does seem to be one quality issue. The window switch for the front passenger window does not work from the driver’s side. It does work when I use the switch at the passenger door next to the window. And my Toyota app thinks a window is open where none is. May or may not be the same problem. No big deal, I’ll wait until the first oil change and have that looked at.
So far so good.

- Only Roof Rails: 76” (6’ 4”)
- With Cross Bars: 79” (6’ 7”)
- With Yakima FatCat Ski Rack: 84” (7’ 0”)
- With Skis: 87” (7” 3”)
