If that sale carries over to the monthly rates and one already has a generic OBD dongle for whatever other purpose, then this is really worth it. I paid 15 bucks for the monthly subscription then cancelled it right before the month is up. Looking through the menus and programming doesn't take much, but you'll want to hold on to it in case you change your mind on some features.

Side note, I couldn't get it to work on iPhone for the life of me. So I used my $30 Android which I picked up for my motorcycle. Never connected it to the network that came with it. Carista website has the compatible dongles.
