BrianZ I'm following this and wondering what you mean by the "boost" you gave the battery when putting in tow truck. I'm only familiar with "charging" and "jump starting".

Yes. Jump start to me is the same as boost. Connecting in the fuse box and ground on the inverter.

FYI the ground point is not the inverter (even tho' it's got a ground symbol on it) there is a proper grounding point.
