For the past two weeks, I have heard a grind or a grown from the front brakes when slowly releasing the brake pedal. This happens with and without the brake-hold engaged. At first, it was coming from the front-left, so I wasn't sure if it was the brake or the something with the master cylinder. I though maybe the caliper was beginning to seize, but now it sounds like both fronts brakes. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have an appointment this Thursday to diagnose it. It's disappointing to have brake issues (re: reverse squeal) like this on a new vehicle.

This happened to me last week. I took it up to 60 and rode the brakes hard down to 20 a few times. Fixed it in short order

You been going down any long mountain passes?

Interesting. Thanks! No mountain passes yet because of this issue. I canceled a trip because not knowing what it was, I didn't want to risk a frozen caliper on a trail.

I brought it to the dealership last week, and they confirmed the issue, but the tech couldn't determine the source. So, I was bringing it back tomorrow, so a senior tech could diagnose it, but like yours, it stopped making the sound a few days ago. Not a peep, which is great. I canceled the appointment as well.

I did brake hard a few times this week... so maybe.
