Any one install the Westcott Designs ditch light brackets?

I really like the look of this light setup and I assume it will be very effective. My only concern is what happens if your mirror comes in contact with something that twists it forward; like say you snag a tree branch while in reverse. Looks like the light will break the mirror housing.

The brackets when bolted in, they are super strong…I can lightly shake the LC with that brackets
