Acorns in my roof...

Well the little fuckers have been busy. Insurance claims agent coming to dealer on Tuesday and they don't have the padding they say they'll need so who knows when I'll actually be taking my truck home.
They are going to put a mesh in the firewall as it looks that they came in through the A/C air intake.

Wow! That’s amazing to see how many acorns they’ve cached in your headliner. Any idea as to how much the repairs will cost the insurance company? I’m sorry to hear that you won’t have your vehicle for a while, but glad they have a potential solution to prevent the problem from reoccurring.

As of last approval we are sitting at around $1,800.00 so far. They may find chewed wires however so who knows.

If there’s a sunroof on this LC, the top side of the retractable liner has a channel that would facilitate a roundish anything to move side to side without falling. This would be the first place I’d look if I had the issue you described, especially if you shuttle little humans around.
Malted milk balls or Whoppers perchance? My 1st thought when you mentioned little humans. I also thought of Humphrey Bogart in the Caine Mutiny.

Geez, those guys have been busy. I'm glad you have a good shop working on this.

I wonder if we should all put mesh in our firewalls. Once it's done, can you post a photo of where they put it?
