First off, what a great resource this forum is.

I must say of all the vehicles I have owned this is the most frustrating. I also currently have a Mercedes Revel RV and even the RV is less irritating lol.

This is basically a rant so feel free to quit reading.

In the first 2500 miles:
3 Window dings (fixable..whew)
Flat tire..tried a plug and a patch both failed so need a new tire (20's)
Dash board has went out several times and came back a day or so later
Carplay is spotty at best
Today the radio display works fine but the speakers are not functioning
Transmission can go from smooth shifting to banging from day to day
16.7 average mpg (only one road trip that was 500-600 miles included)

I have never been "that guy" when it comes to cars...I have owned a huge variety and this is the worst start ever.

Talk me off a cliff please.

Alex

Welcome to the asylum RuSure.

I thought Macon, Georgia was the armpit of the south.
I never thought a LC would make me buy Rogaine...

Houston is about 15 times bigger than Macon, imagine that. I guess I could say Houston is like a Taint after working in the fields all day

All the super fine models and builds to to the biggest market by far, California, the rest get spread out across the country.
I should not say that, the middle east models are also super fine.
Maybe yours got built in "the other Plant" they don't like to talk about.

I’m at 3500 miles now and the transmission has smoothed out and the electric motor and ICE seem to be more in sync. The whole experience is incredible and super smooth.

I have to put a plug in for eco mode, too. I found that it made the throttle less sensitive and the engine less jumpy overall. I’m also better able to find the “sweet spot” for getting up to speed and coasting in around town traffic. Trust me, it gets much better.
