Picked up my 1958 PMV (Poor Man's Version) this December and have just started driving it. I come from a 2008 FJ Cruiser background and traded the FJ for the LC. First imprsessions is that the 58 rides great and on a recent trip got a 10.8l/100km or 22mpg. Not bad for my first road trip outing.
Negative comments so far is the glitchy tech on the 58. Several attempts to get the drve connect and the remote connect to work. The problem is on the Toyota side of things. Finally worked and that has been my only issue.
I've upgraded the tires to Falken Wild Peak and the ride is great. Probably going to add some roof rails or rack and that will be the extent of my upgrades.
