That’s a perfect way to describe it. I thought I was crazy for a while. Anytime I’m braking later from a higher speed, I experience this brake fade feeling. Not a huge fan.
I’d much rather the engine braking do the work as I prefer to coast in traffic.
I think the 705 design has a lot of the same lines as the LC and fits the truck perfectly. 703’s look good on everything so you cannot go wrong with those. If I were going aftermarket, the 705’s would be my clear choice.
Looks awesome 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Any comparison on the ride compared to stock? I’ve been wondering about how the added compression on the front spring would affect the ride quality. Does it feel a bit stiffer, sharper over bumps? Does the steering feel any different?
Any notes would be much appreciated!
Just had to bail on my reserved LC Prem wind chill pearl/java. Relocating and cannot pick it up within required window.
It’s now available in N Chicago area. It’s on a train and scheduled to be delivered between this week and 8/1/24. Pm if you want dealer and salesman details.
My ETA moved out two weeks from 7/2-7/15 to 7/17-8/1.
If it helps, my reserved LC first appeared on SmartPath on 5/6. Vin ending with “2223”. It was affected by the qc hold. Released from hold on 7/2/24.
Now it’s somewhere between sitting at the port and sitting in my driveway. 😁
Original est. delivery date was 7/17/24. Just got the call that my LC will be delivered between today and 7/15/24.
QC hold was lifted on Friday. I’m very glad.
My dealer pulled mine off Toyota and their dealer site immediately after my deposit was out down (May). It’s been kind of annoying to have zero insight without making a phone call.
Newbie question alert: what kind of shop do you all use for an install like this?
Would you use a 4x4 parts/mod shop or would any old suspension shop be trustworthy?
In Dallas we have 4Wheel Parts, a huge parts retailer and installer. Would that be the way to go for this level kit?
Not to kick the hornets nest, but no one has breathed a word at any point on any topic on this forum. We type our words here. 🙃
Let’s all chill out. Sequoia cargo space is a bummer. Likely engine reliability is a huge bummer too.
It appears that Toyota, with the addition of the Trailmaster trim, has turned TRD pro into a more narrowly focused baja/speed off road trim. Not really a fit for the LC.
