Jeep Wrangler 4Xe hybrid battery periodically recharges the 12V battery to compensate for drain. This helps in a long term storage situation without a trickle charger in use. Does the LC work the same way?

Thanks, @ultane for that info. But from what you said, I can't tell if you're suggesting to use ramps for both front wheels, or both left wheels.

Under both front wheels? Or both on one side? I see ramps available with about a 2.5” rise, and others with about 6” rise. Not sure the 2.5” would do much, but I guess they would minimize retained oil caused by the tilt.

@EOD Guy since you leave the hose connected full-time, did you cut it shorter than the supplied 3-foot length? Seems like a lot of hose to tuck in somewhere. And, I guess you found a way to keep the hose secure (where?) without contacting anything hot or moving - or do you just have it sitting...

I haven't changed my own oil in decades, but with all of the guidance provided here I'm now thinking about it for my LC. Planning on using the Fumoto F133N with hose (if I can get the dealer to put the Fumoto on during one of my 2 "free" changes) and this pan/container...

@DKing I just read another thread that said the plug cover is easily removed by squeezing the cover with needle nose pliers so that the tiny catch releases and the cover slides right off.

I’m guessing that the OP is referring to the up/down adjustment buttons that stick out just below the illuminated buttons. Those are not illuminated, right?

Mine does the same - 1 mph less than set - but only sometimes. It may be related to whether vehicle is on a slight upward incline, but not sure yet. Most of the time on level road it is on target.

I think the GX550 has hood struts. Would those work on the LC?

Will an M10 or 3/8" hex bolt fit and work in the crossbar channel? I measured 20mm width for the channel (where the bolt head would slide).

I found that the shipping fee from the forum seller was almost twice the cost of the item, so I declined. This is a lightweight item and it would have been shipped about 400 miles.

I can confirm that the carabiner trick works to turn of the dome light and the FE hatch lights. I didn't check whether it has any effect on any passenger door lights. I used one about 1 inch wide and 2 and 1/2 inches long.
