I apologize if I was misleading. The way I read that was to charge the 12V battery, and I presumed it would work for a tender as well. That was where I was going to connect my tender when we were on an extended job. I will be very interested to know if it would not work for that.

I tried a different (USB A) flash drive with an adapter to USB C, FAT32 is the default on the drive, went to source , clicked on USB and there it was. Awesome. The adapter looks like it is nothing special, it came with my laptop.
No part number yet, however it is mentioned as an option on page 494 in the owners manual. So it must exist. It would be handy to find that part number as well as the part number for the protective flap that hangs down.
