Hey there, I have your adapter that plugs into the factory dash cam location behind the map lights. Will this use the same harness, or will I have to run a new harness? Thanks!
Yeah I removed the plastic piece temporarily because I couldn’t see what the black bracket was hitting and causing the black bracket to not sit flush. Only thing I can think of is that the bracket is somehow ever so slightly bent incorrectly or maybe got bent slightly in shipping.
Running into an issue with the black bracket that attaches to the front. It appears to be making contact with some of the bumper bolts…am I doing this wrong?! Plastic piece was removed to show the contact point.

The adapter has double stick tape on it. Technically you could leave it up in the headliner, but I chose to stick it to the windshield in case I decide to change to a different dashcam later.
It's the rear seat check notification. Mine always does it when I have my kids in the back seat and after they get out and i hit lock, it does the 5 beeps.
I beleive Dongar stated that the 10 pin adapters will only work on homelink mirrors only, not the mirrors with the rear cam. Instead you will use their other adapter that ties into the factory dash cam plug by the map lights.
i sent them a message and this is what they sent me:
