someone else mentioned this, but a perfect blend is keeping the LC. Go buy a SXS (New CanAm Maverick) and beat the hell out of it. I've owned 6 SXS's since 2008 and they are the best outlet to go rip in the mountains and desert. And when you break them, which you will, then the repairs are...
Same. I did 285 70 18's and all this is off. My speedo is actually 3 mph faster which is weird. When Im doing 70, the speedo should really be reading 67. Instead its north of actual. Doesnt make sense if the revolutions are less per mile having taller tires. Fight me...
Id dump my money into a Raptor R Bronco before a Ranger. It wont hold up long but hell, theres a lot of fun to be had in a stock crawler with great power and factory 37" tires. If the EcoBoost doesnt give up the ghost until the 5 year mark then all is good.
I can confirm jeep windshields are more flat than the LC. I went through several windshields with my jeeps. Only upside is, the windshields other than OEM were not too bad on price. I cant imagine what an LC windshield will cost
This is at a local So Cal dealer. Just for reference if you are looking to go with 35's and the Taco TRD wheels (45mm offset). My buddy in Simi took the pics and there actually might be a lift on it now that im looking closer. Not sure.
