I just experienced the stop and go traffic cruise control. Worked great. Down to zero, back up 10 and repeat. Kept a good tight distance to car in front so people weren't constantly filling the gap.
Surprised me how much i liked it
I also just got a flat. Nail in a parking lot.
The car never warned me either. have FE.
I was pleased to see full size spare and matching rim!
No burn mark on spare.
Chain hung up when cranking spare down. Had to kick around tire a bit to get it to drop.
FE. 4,000 miles. Still in the 15-18 range no matter what ive tried.
Im taking it to dealer soon to see if they can run a diagnostic.
If not fixed im dumping this car.
I could get a defender, GX, Cayenne with v6 and have this gas mileage.
Ive been to Pismo many times. Those dunes can be terrifying.
Seen a lot of stock Toyotas stuck there.
Theres some great classic off road trails near pismo. One goes to a water fall with a water crossing and one to top of hill over morro bay.
Stock LC can do both. And no sand.

I emailed toyota today. Asked about us getting 17mpg.
Feel free to pile on if you are also in the 17mpg club
Could be. But Im at sea level. I even did some all freeway trips and no change 17.
Im leaning toward a programing issue with battery v engine.
Dont know how to check. The dealer is useless
Yea ive picked up same mpg distribution from reading threads. Roughly 25% about 17 and rest about low 20’s.
havnt seen a correlation to geographic region, driving habits, etc.
people mostly got 20’s right off the bat or 17ish.
Could be programing or could be some aspect not properly engaging.
Some of us have low mileage issue and its not how we drive. Ive tried ALL the tricks mentioned. Super conservative, etc. still getting 17mpg. Freeway, city, soft foot, doesnt matter.
Never seen even 20 .
I think us in the 17 club have a issue. Programing, something else? Dont know.
100%. I did my MGM tacoma and Meteor LC but not my other white car.
And white car i also just run thru a brush car wash.
The taco and LC get driven on dirt roads and parked outside too.
And Im done waxing!
Plus, i like cars to look good. My LC is for camping but also for work with clients...
All valid points. Its expensive, you shouldn't use brush car washes again, and needs periodic refresh.
Why i did it. I foam canon wash and it is great time saver for that. I dont want to wax my car again. Park outside often and gives me more hardwater spots, bird and sun protection.
My opinion...
I ceramic tinted all the windows except windshield. I live is very hot area. Big difference.
This aquarium suv was so hot. Now with a windshield shade and ceramic tint huge improvement.
Expensive! But permanent. I recall a 5 or 7 year warranty.
Made paint (mine is meteor) look better. Deeper color like after a wax.
All plastic, rims and glass included.
Washes are a joy now. Dont even need a sponge most the time.
$1000
I got mine ceramic coated by Ceramic Pro. Its Like a permanent wax. They did rims and glass too. water beads off and dirt doesn't stick as easily. Makes washing after a trail ride so easy. I just foam it and power wash off.
I dont think ceramic helps with scratches though.
I ordered one earlier off Ebay. Said it was for 2024 Landcruiser. Had pics, etc.
it was too wide to fit. 59 inches and springs in only a little. LC gap is 56”.
So i just tried the 24’ GX 550 one from Amazon. Stay tuned
