Test drove the LC - wanting a bit more performance - future performance upgrades coming?

The mode suggestion is really a good idea. It wouldn't surprise me if your test drive was in ECO. Did the same thing to my CanAM when I got it, put that sucker off ECO mode, didn't need it to throttle down or even out in power...not a bike. My test drive was great. I had curves, bumps...

    PNW Check-Ins ๐Ÿ‘‹

Yakima Valley here. Used to live in Seattle, now I live in with 4 seasons. Loving it. Mine should arrive end of this month. Hoping before Turkey day, but likely PU early Dec. Cannot wait!

    QC hold 5/17/24 in Port

That was a concern.....I'm suddenly glad I'm switching my Subie's tires to winter tires this weekend. What a ride getting this car has been.

    QC hold 5/17/24 in Port

Mine arrived to Portland this past weekend, ETA still shows on track. I have been a bit nervous about those cross bars considering the rumors of delays, fingers crossed for "on time" delivery end of the month (to north of SEA)

How do you speak to the forum admin ?

Poll is fine. For me, Zero interest in sub-diving NA forums. I rather like it when people talk about their experiences in other areas of US/CAN, gives me ideas on where to go or such. We are in a global world. Another input: while builds could different in EU, SA, NA, AS our experiences...

StickerFab Topographic Map Glove Box Panel Protection

Solid mod, love it. For me, Topo to use a black interior would be great. What about mountains for an option? or some kind of mountain/compass since it's taller than wide?

    QC hold 5/17/24 in Port

Mine also arrives to PDX 11/2, off load, port installs. ETA to dealership anytime from 11/11 - 12/2. that 3 week gap is the kicker. And to get ahead of anything, I'm good with the port installed items :) For fun: here's the ship...

    QC hold 5/17/24 in Port

Haven't heard anything myself. Mine is still scheduled to come in end of Nov, it'll be one of the last 2024s. Could be typical change over, where is the line that you cut off from year to year, that supply likely bottoms out. Seeing on Toyota FB sites regarding Sienna and 4Runner supplies...

    2027 Scout Traveler SUV Reveal

The direct to consumer aspect is a huge step. It'll be really interesting to see the Amazon + Hyundai launch. As an ex-Saturn owner, I couldn't understand why ordering a car wasn't simpler after I had to get another car after that one. Still annoys the (blankety) to this day frankly.....haha

    2027 Scout Traveler SUV Reveal

I like it. I sent the link to my hubby since he knows his next truck will be a EV. This is 2 years from now, and EV is here to stay, and frankly it looks wicked cool.

    Scout Traveler

When production starts 2027, and the entry level starts at 50K, that's not too bad considering..... I honestly am a little past the too far in advanced release notices. Reminds me of the gaming industry when they would announce a game 1+ yrs in advance to build anticipation and review demand...

How are you Closing your Hood?

It still has coming soon in the bottom part of their page. Might be a placeholder then, particularly when they state that I've gone forward in time. hahaha

What's your car journey that got you here?

Loved my first car, hated my Jetta I swear I got a lemon but was too young to know better. The Genesis (my midlife car) I loved loved loved, but I got stuck in bad weather too often. Love my Outback, put some serious miles on her, still debating on keep/sell situation. 1980 Datsun 210...

    Not sure about the LTA

I have LA & adaptive cruise in my 2016 outback, so the tech has been around a bit. I find that I'm not a huge fan of the acceleration part, so I've only used it when "coasting" on longer drives. LA, I'm iffy on. I mean, I like it on long drives to make sure that I'm aware, but I also live...

New Forum membe looking for LC!

Welcome to the party! Consider joining No Markup Toyota on Facebook and broadcast your needs. You might be surprised by the bite. Now is the transition from 2024 to 2025, mine is arriving in Nov, it's probably one of the last 2024s, as the very next allocation started the 2025s. I would...

    Toyota Dealership Foolery

For a lean company, Toyota seems to be the weirdest run at least with it's dealerships. I mean, I did my first car order through Saturn back in the day, and I felt I had more communication and customer service. In the path of getting my name latched onto a VIN, I've had conversations with 5...

WA Back Country Discovery Route (BDR) - Recommendations

I absolutely love these pictures. And it was a beautiful weekend too, lucky dog. Love the smiley face on the brake lights. Well done.

    Land Cruisers are easily stolen.

They disabled anything that could remotely access her. To me, this wasn't a simple job. Considering you got her mostly intact, I wonder how she was found.

Super Confused in Fuel needed for 2024 Land Cruiser.

Let's try another way: ASTM D4814 = fuel standards. Octane rating is separate from that and is just a test. That test produces a number by which then that allows that gas to go into the appropriate gas tank at a station. Similar comparison.: Milk has a federal standard. Milk also comes...

Super Confused in Fuel needed for 2024 Land Cruiser.

I see this thread has risen again. I seem to recall that there was a comparison to the Lexus. As I understood it that engine is tuned higher similar to the LC, and both vehicles have a recommendation for Premium. Honestly, I'm one of those rule followers. And I also read somewhere that one...

It all boils down to range anxiety.

This 100%. I was raised the same way. I tend to fill up my tank around 1/4 because of this training from eons ago. Honestly, I think it's probably a good habit that I don't need to break. :)

    New here - need help

Did you by chance have a temporary VIN before? Perhaps you have an actual one now that it's build and on the road. Perhaps that's why it disappeared?
