Yes. I have around 1800 miles logged with mpg varying from 16.4-16.7, Not happy with this one bit and while I know mpg testing can be exaggerated based upon manuf. testing possibly being ideal, I certainly expect real world conditions to not differ to this degree. I have the FE with roof rack...
FYI, I'm now 1800 + miles and the onboard calculator has indicated from 16.4-16.7 mpg since the start. This is not what sticker promised... still waiting for that anticipated hybrid break in. I'm about 60% highway/40% city; highway drives about 80 mph.
ECO setting has been used
Pay close attention to the actual areas of ppf/clear coat on your LC when received, my FE came with minimal protections for maximum price, lol. After oak trees seriously stained my white roof I decided to opt for a $1900 ceramic coat manuf & 5yr warr by Owners Pride. First time use for me, so...

SE Toyota touts the "protected"...
With about 1200 miles, I'll share this:
Plenty of power and torque in ECO mode.
So far MPG reads 16.7 mpg, expecting improvement over time.
On road ride smooth on grass & sugar sand, it really come alive. I need to spend a bit more time learning E settings to run off road for an extended period.
Other than having to pay over sticker for the honor of an FE, I'm pleased with my purchase.
in the past I've enjoyed owning a '72 J40 and two 1994 models (first was stolen at 600 miles).
Was never a big fan of the FJ so passed on those. This new version caught my attention last Fall and I was on...
