Tonneau (Cargo) Cover Set for 2024

There's plenty of info and pictures in the last couple pages of this thread: Question for Owners: Is a Retractable Luggage (Cargo) Cover standard on the 2024 Land Cruiser? Part #64009-60010-C0 I paid ~$160 including shipping from Grieco Toyota.

What’s the verdict on MPG when removing front tire air dams-without changing tires and rims?

I left mine on and my MPG dropped by 2. So you guys might be onto something!

Question for Owners: Is a Retractable Luggage (Cargo) Cover standard on the 2024 Land Cruiser?

I just installed the cover (64009-60010-C0) today. Pretty big gap with no coverage between the back seats and the cover unless you have them reclined all the way back. It would have been a nice touch if they had a second extension cover piece to cover that gap. The cover on my old Subaru...

    Heated Seats issue: Updated**

Heated seats have been working well for me for the past few weeks now that it's been reliably chilly every morning. (I have the softex trimmed seats)

Anyone with two car seats in the 2nd row?

3 & 6 year old kids. They fit fine, plenty of room. No issue with passenger/driver seat room (i'm 6'1). Kids definitely get their feet all over the seat in front of them, but that's by choice, they have plenty of room to not kick the seat. Middle would be pretty squished for an adult but I...

    Turned off LCA

My biggest issue with LCA is when overtaking cyclists, if you don't use your lane change signal, the vehicle will attempt to murder the bike rider.

Question on FE Skid Plates Upgrade

The front skid comes with any additional hardware you need. The rear skid re-uses all the same bolts.

    Quick turnaround skid plate recommendations?

I picked up ramps at Autozone and ordered both skid plates online to install on my own. Still came out ~$500 ahead compared to what the dealership quoted me. Maybe $490 if you account for the beer shared with my buddy to help with the install.

    Introduction

Those crossbars for the OEM rails look great. Would they have the same load rating as the OEM crossbars or possibly a bit higher?

    1958 folks.. regrets?

LCLC No-premium here. Happy with my decision generally. If the 1958 model had come in the two-tone color options I probably would have had a much harder time choosing between LCLC and 1958. After about ~2500mi over ~4 months I’m very happy about having: two-tone color MTM/cameras sway bar...

    18’’ or 20’’ for winter?

I have Blizzaks on my RAV4 and have been driving winter tires seasonally most of my life. Sorry for the lack of context on my other post. I’m going to try this winter with the wildpeaks on the cruiser to see how they actually manage my winter conditions. A lot of folks around here (mountain...

    Dead battery in smart key

Interesting. Just checked the manual and you’re right. My previous Toyota fobs all used CR2032. A quick search online suggests same voltage but 3x the capacity. Which is ironic since everyone is having them die very early in this thread 🫠

    Dead battery in smart key

It's just CR2032 cells right? Those are pretty common and worth keeping a stash, IMO. I keep a stockpile of them with my AAAs and AAs. EDIT - they aren’t (in case anyone is referencing this post in the future via search, it’s a CR2450 battery)

    Rattling excessively on dirt road

Yeah, I found it turned off around 18 or 19mph sadly. It does soften up the rough dirt roads a bit, i just wish it could stay on up to 25mph at least.

    Windshield Wiper De-Icer Grid

I was a little bummed to find it only in the screen options instead of a physical button like on my Rav4. My plan is to just turn it on and leave it on for the season. I would assume that if they expected you to be turning it on and off there would be a more usable button. I'll report back...

    Only getting 17mpg

Sorry for the apparent sarcasm, but I can’t resist making simpsons references when given the chance. I think a lot of us think that calling a trim level the same as the model name a little dumb, but then again, I like dumb things so I try to have fun with it. I personally like calling mine...

    Tire Upgrade ?

I sold my set of 5 with ~130mi on FB marketplace. Listed at $400, sold for $300. I was happy to get rid of them since they took up a lot of space in the garage.
