The FE-style roof rack is not VIN-locked, but they do make you add your VIN if you order from Toyota. Labor Day sale current through end of today adds 15% onto what the online dealer price shows; was surprised I could order from my local dealer and it was less expensive than all the online...
Along with the lack of Overtrails, I finally gave up waiting on a Meteor Shower LCP, and accepted delivery of a Trail Dust a few days ago. Color is growing on me (initially thought pictures seemed on the yellow side). 285s installed on '24 Tacoma TRD wheels, with a 275 for spare. Just need some...
I waited three months for a Meteor Shower here in the states, finally gave up and accepted delivery of a Trail Dust a few days ago. Color is growing on me, and most people seem to like it.
20 (now 100) miles on the running boards, available now. ;)
Also have a set of OEM wheels (LCLC Premium, the dark grey) to work into any deal if preferred.
EDIT: Found rock rails, just selling running boards now
Me too, I need to understand the 'why' on this one, as it was not immediately clear reading it. That being said...
The manual has so many misspellings and grammatical errors (mostly this) that Toyota should be positively ashamed to even print it. I've read several Toyota manuals, and never have...
This.
I just ordered the 2024 Tacoma 18" TRD wheels for this reason. Lighter than Icon/Method to boot. Really wanted to find some Tundra/Sequoia takeoffs, but people seem to be selling them singly, and $3k for wheels is stupid for the same weight.
If the speed limit is 65, you'd set the cruise control to +5 (instead of 70), and then if the speed limit changed to 55, the vehicle would automatically decelerate to 60. Might help driving through Texas when every frickin' podunk town had a cop and a 45 mph limit.
Oh good, I just pulled our 3000# trailer 975 miles in one day ('16 4Runner), and there is no way I could have done that without CC. I simply cannot wait to never tow with the prehistoric 4Runner again!
Still waiting on my LC, but curious if the LC will shut the engine off when sitting 'idle' in Park. When you first start it, does the engine start, or does it wait until it is put into gear? Curious about hooking up for towing, if I'll need to start/stop the engine repeatedly when getting...
[EDIT: context was somehow removed from this post, in response to OP's inane/random injection of political views]
What you seem not to understand is that it's probably only 'funny' to those with similar views to your own narrow perspective. If you had any ability to look at it from another...
This. I also came from two sets of Cooper AT3s (both E), and they were a great all-around, all-terrain tire. Getting ready to sell my 4Runner when the LC comes in, and recently put Falken AT3Ws on it and have been impressed overall. What I was thrilled with is their performance in rain...
You must not live at altitude. Spend almost all my time in second and third gears, I am over how poorly the 4Runner tows here in CO, and can't wait for delivery of my LC.
Dealer did that to us (50 psi!) in our '21 RAV4 Prime (stupid me, I assumed they'd deliver with proper pressure). Ended up getting a shoulder flat at 500 miles, the over-pressure almost certainly contributed to it. I shit-canned the other three brand new Yokos, replaced with Falken AT3 (dealer...
