Are you saying that you think these rails and "feet" look like they were designed for the LC?
If I'm not mistaken, those are the OEM roof rails that are attached to the LC and have LFD Offroad aftermarket crossbars attached to them.
The handle I installed on my Prinsu Pro might work better for you. They look like they might extend further out than the Prinsu ones and are hell of a lot cheaper and you can grab from underneath if you are desperate. The picture below shows where I have one installed on the last bar but I also...
So, that plug mentioned above was not the issue. However, there WAS a plug disconnected and once it was connected, things started working properly again. I'm not sure what it was connected to because I didn't take the trim off completely and just peeked in the back and saw right off the bat...
Unfortunately, you can't see back to the part in question from the cupholder area. I think I'll need to pull the back of the trim off at least. Might not need to remove the whole thing though which would be a big time saver.
Hmmm, if that red thing is a plug that had to be disconnected to get some of the trim or ducting off, it's very likely I forgot to plug it back in. I'll take a look as soon as I get an hour to take the trim off again to find that. Thank you sir!
All, I removed all of the trim from front seats back except the doors and headliner this past weekend to install some sound deadening material and run some wiring. This included taking the large panels off on both sides as well as some of the duct work on the passenger side that is responsible...
What relay are you referring to? The red cable coming out of the box is attached to the positive terminal under the cover on one end and then the circuit breaker on the other side.
If you take the fuse box cover off and then the cover over the thick cables going down the side, you see 2...
Not sure what you mean by "tailgate lighting"?
Yes, the white wire was just a quick and dirty connection from the OEM sub connector to the powered sub I was trying to set up.
Looks great. Excited ARB is jumping in with a bumper. Can't wait for others to follow suit.
The only thing that I found a bit ridiculous was the 101QT fridge that took up the entire cargo area. You can carry the dead body out to the dessert without it stinking up the rig but you can't carry a...
Installed sound deadening mat on the everything behind the front seats except the rear doors and roof(which I'm not planning on doing). Haven't had a chance to drive it yet to see how much of a difference it makes. It BETTER be worth it after the 10 hours of labor that went into it! Also...
FYI, I found that removing the protective "shell" that covers the hyrid battery made getting the passenger side trim out MUCH easier and less like to break something. The shell is only held down by eight 14mm bolts that only take a couple of minutes to remove. Not sure if it makes driver's side...
Yeah, I'm thinking these newer stereos are much more computer than old school stereo that we are used to. I'm going to totally oversimplify here but my guess is that the head unit sends an audio signal to the amp via one set of wires and a "controller" signal via another set of wires that lets...
So, my powered sub (PS) takes 2 pairs as input. Not sure if you need both pairs or one would suffice but since it had 2 pairs, I ran 4 wires from the connector to the 4 wires on the input of the PS. I can't remember for sure but it would not work with just 1 pair connected. That being said, I...
That's exactly what I think might be happening but wasn't sure. In that case, would it be more accurate to call it a Digital Sound Processor (DSP)?
BTW, there is another post with some similar conversation that. Here's my post there with pictures of the wiring on the OEM sub.
I was just hoping...
