23mpg here with a pretty consistent mix of town and highway driving....and that's on 265/65r18 Ridge Grapplers. About 340 miles to the tank. Wish it were more? Yes. About the same as my old Tacoma? Also yes.
Same. About 3,500 miles on the odo and seeing a consistent 23mpg now. Again, this is on Nitto Ridge Grapplers... so not the most efficient tire. Overall happy with the mileage but the size of the gas tank sucks.
I've got Nitto Ridge Grapplers on mine and, while they look really nice, I can definitely hear them. I thinking of toning it down a bit with Terra Grappler G2s at some point. Seems like a perfect mix of decent tread and low noise.
Take this with a grain of salt, but I really like the base stereo in the 1958 and haven't even bothered to tune it. The soundstage is high and forward. Highs are clear/snappy and mids strong. I really haven't pushed the low-end because I'm mostly listening to podcasts and the occasional rock/EDM...
I towed a golf cart about 700 miles with mine the week after buying it. Pulled like a champ because of how much torque the motor has. And I LOVE how robust the hitch is. It's a massive chunk of steel. Only thing that sucked was the gas mileage on that journey, which plunged down to 16-17mpg or...
I don't mind the engine noises, specifically the turbo. Reminds me of the old Saab 9-3 I had!
Dealer tossed all-weather mats in my 1958 when I bought it, apart from the carpet deck in the back hatch.
Yeah, that's how it was sitting at the dealer... Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I have no idea if the dealer or factory did it. Looks nice with the aggressive tread (to me at least)!
It's the only thing I don't like about the vehicle right now, but I'm filling up about as much as my old Tacoma with its bigger gas tank. The more I drive the LC, though, the better the mileage gets. Currently averaging 23mpg, which is much better than the Taco ever got.
I'm getting just over 20mpg in a slick-top 1958 edition. Backroads commute to work at around 55mph. Dealer or distributor added some beefy Nitto Ridge Grapplers, so that doesn't help... I'm sure the stock Grandtreks or whatever would net 1 or 2 more mpg.
I also just towed a golf cart from FL to...
I've been driving a 1958 edition for two weeks and I'm thrilled with the cargo space. Coming from a DCSB Tacoma (mine) and Crosstrek PHEV (wife's), and with two kids and lots of summer roadtrips, we needed more space. The LC's hatch area seemed just as big as the 5th gen 4Runner I test-drove...
