Outstanding. The Cessna 172 is the go-to workhorse plane for training as well as owning. It sounds like you are entertaining getting your private pilot's license. I am in the final steps as well.
I am going with a Cessna 182 once I am licensed. You can buy them, operate them, and...
All I have worn are Ray Ban sunglasses. You can order them with or without polarized lenses.
I switched from polarized to regular glass for the HUD issue and other screens which polarized make disappear.
I may be in the minority, however, I like the appearance of a roof rack on any SUV. Adds a rugged appearance. However, I like the old school appearance of Land Cruiser / Land Rover.
In fact, I am adding Thule cross bars to add an additional layer of rack.
However, I would never actually my...
My dad had a 1987 Guards Red 951. I don't believe that ever needed anything but servicing and tires....lots of tires. He handed that down to me when I was far too young for a 951 and the insurance company confirmed this.
Seems like Land Cruiser guys are also P-Car guys. Kind of like pro...
Great 997.1 S. I have done the Porsche Track Experience at Barber Motorsports three times. Twice with my dad who was also a 911 guy for many, many years. A great experience.
I have a '16 Black Edition loaded with options including PASM. I am a long time 911 owner and also swear by Porsche...
Agreed. It actually is more of a distraction than a safety feature. Especially when you are maneuvering through road construction and the lines are not definite.
Who is actually concerned with heated rear seats? I, personally, am in the habit of driving from the front seat.
In fact, when someone is in the backseat of my vehicles, I am anxious to get them out from there. Having no heated seats for them may expedite their exit from my backseat.
Thank you, Run-8. I didn’t notice that. Privacy is key.
Yeah, I like what a few guys did with the classic 4WD Land Cruiser logo in place of the iForceMax badge. I’m considering that as well.
I purchased the Toyota overlay as well from Chris.
I just haven’t put it on yet.
Each letter has to be applied, so I really have to be focused.
Per Chris’s recommendation, I ordered silver to match the valence, etc.
I think the silver would look sharp on trail dust as well as the Toyota...
I’m personally not a fan of black emblems over black vehicles.
I couldn’t find silver/gray Land Cruiser emblems anywhere in the world. So I decided to order overlays from Chris at StickerFab.
He produces a high quality product.
Highly recommend his shop.
Outstanding. I was literally just looking at those flaps this afternoon online.
I haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
Sounds like they went on well.
How do they look?
Keep in mind the X3 is a tiny vehicle which is designed for women and tiny men. It is significantly smaller, lower to the ground, and is MUCH lighter in weight than the Land Cruiser. I find the LC's brakes to be superb and locks it down very effectively.
Just by way of Newton's Law, you will...
I definitely recommend drilling a small pilot hole first in order to get the screw started and to prevent it from walking around the small indented areas. Other than that, worked well and I am now legal. At least legal with regards to front license plates.
Yes, we require it as well. I purchased mine in Illinois and they don't require front plates.
Ha. I know it. Drilling into the front of a brand new LC is a little spooky. Perhaps a Manhattan neat beforehand would calm the nerves before taking the drill to it.
It sounds like a great setup--especially when the front bumper really isn't designed for a front plate. At least on the LC, there is a flat space that is designed for the plate. I appreciate your response and input....
