I posted something I encountered on FB, for people to read and draw their own conclusions.
I didn't post it to be personally attacked. You crossed the line.

"Two things on the quality hold are skid plates and a hose needing to be checked. I was in a meeting with the ExecVP of Toyota, Jack Hollis, this week and this is what he said the hold- ups are. The good news is yours has already been processed and went to freight status, which...
Someone said something about a Wednesday (tomorrow) call scheduled between the heads of the 5 families and Toyota. Tomorrow they settle all family business.
Seriously though, I did read something about a call tomorrow with a possible update
I don't think it means much, but I have seen a lot more LCs switch from "build" phase to "transit" and a window sticker has appeared on a bunch on SmartPath this past week.
Still on hold obviously but seems like maybe they are updating some statuses, who knows lol
So it'll say dealer advertised price at MSRP. Let's say $77400. Then when pursuing it, they'll say, oh btw it's a 3k ADM so the actual price is $80400. But they don't advertise that or say "contact dealer for price." They actively advertise MSRP
So I believe the issue is a bait and switch. It's happened on SmartPath multiple times to me where it's advertised at one price (MSRP) and then I call or email and there's an ADM of 3k or 5k or whatever
Looks awesome! π I have a question, Ryan.
If I went with the Nomads +25 with the same tires you picked (285/70) would there be any rub in your opinion or just more poke?
i think im going to go with the Falken 285/70/r17 Rubitrek A/T (i do mostly highway driving but want something somwhat aggressive but the Wildpeak is too aggressive)''
hoping to do the white Convoy Salt Nomad wheels 17x8.5 in my heritage blue LC
so frustrating to wait, but have to keep a positive attitude that in the end, Toyota and their QC process will produce a reliable vehicle worth the extra wait
