You can get 3/4 of a turn without much issue, but then it will be a struggle to get the collar tightened again. If King opted for a set screw like Icon, this wouldn't be an issue, but the way they secure the collar from rotating takes up a lot of real estate.

For those performing their own maintenance etc, If you have access to a 3D printer, there are funnels available. Changed my oil yesterday after printing mine. Worked like a charm.

Yep pretty dang cold here in Va Beach area, and windy! Last year this time I have pictures of my family in shorts and T-shirts.

Garmin wireless. Integrates with Apple CarPlay, and comes up on the main screen to turn lights on and off. Could use your phone too. Been flawless so far, and super simple install. It's not without it's drawbacks, but the pros far outweighed the cons in my case.

Thread engagement should be equal or greater than the width of the stud. Turning by hand 5x and another 1.5-2 with torque should be ample.

That's correct... I see where you said pre-load, but you'd have to sweet talk RL or Westcott (or similar) to see if they would sell you just the collar. I thought about machining down Wescott's collar because I like the under spring placement better than RL on top. Not sure it matters, but...
