I dont trust any of these numbers or the ones on mine. Im seeing MPG all over the map depending on when you reset to 0. Im gonna start hand calculating mine this week for first time.
I like the SL tires as they dont need to be deflated much for crawling. Sidewalls are more flexible and tires are lighter for MPG's. Falkens are great tires.
Took an hour to do this set up with my sale guy yesterday. Didnt take the first time. PITA. Then i find out, to utilize the built in maps feature of my display, you have to pay $15 month. WTF. My last two vehicles had free maps integration in the vehicle. Now apple car play is needed. Sad.
I just went from 245 to 265 70 18 Falken WP4's SL I wanted to keep fuel mileage at stock and these tires are only 50 lbs ea. Im running them at 36 psi. The Falkens run bigger than others.
Mine same issue. I got red blinking light then it goes solid red when locked. It took rolling 20 to 30 feet before it engaged. But it disengaged quickly when i turned off.
I watched the TFL video in Moab and same issue happened with their 1958 unit. Took a while for locker to engage.
Call me crazy, but i dont see a difference in fender flares. I only see a difference in mud flap size which is probably due to the 1958 getting smaller tires??? Can anyone post an official link from Toyota which states the body structures are different? That seems really stupid to tool up for...
The lift gives better ground clearance up front by pushing the control arms southward, but the rear only benefits by bigger tires. you can argue the whole "body" goes up a bit, which could help prevent quarter panel damage in rough terrain, rocks etc.
Local business who only does custom lifts. This company has lifted 3 vehicles for my over the last 10 years, so i trust them but maybe the LC responds better to a collar lift than other vehicles????
I ordered westcott lift, but the lift company told me to be careful as people report a "pogo stick" kinda ride with this kinda lift?? Anyone feel like this lift has worsened the ride quality? Thanks
I feel lame for so many questions, but here we go.... Ordered Wild Peaks in a 265 70 18 to replace my lame ass 245 series on my 1958. I want to keep computer accurate for fuel mileage monitoring. Can the dealer update this tire change in LC computer or ??? Thanks in advance
Picked up my 1958 on friday and first thing I did was check heated seats. Work great. I have the cloth seats. I had my AC on also. Of note, I could feel the heat ramp up within seconds. Had to turn them off quickly
